April 2, There was some delay in accepting me into the ESC program but I found the other members very knowledgeable and enjoyed attending their meetings. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be the demand by non-profit agencies for the pro bono consulting services available to match the number of highly qualified individuals willing to serve them. Therefore, I am continuing to look for other volunteer opportunities where I can be more involved.

During this pandemic, we are endeavoring to take care of our community. Volunteers can choose to serve with a wide variety of organizations in health care, human services, child care agencies, schools, libraries, senior centers, law enforcement, parks, environmental programs, and many others. RSVP volunteers receive supplemental liability and accident insurance, our newsletter highlighting our volunteers' impact on the community and an invitation our annual volunteer appreciation luncheon and other RSVP related events.

Unlike listings at other volunteer agencies, RSVP volunteer opportunities have regularly scheduled volunteer hours that members may maintain for long periods of time, rather than doing one day project based volunteering.
